Key Responsibilities:

  • Constructs, repairs, and prepares components for testing along with related auxiliary equipment.
  • Installs test components into testing structures (test cell, table, rig, etc.).
  • Conducts tests following established testing methods.
  • Ensures testing is performed according to defined procedures and methodologies.
  • Consistently delivers accurate and dependable test results.
  • Possesses a thorough understanding of the test equipment's function and its impact on test result validity.
  • Configures and operates data acquisition systems; analyzes and reviews data for relevance.
  • Understands the product under test to evaluate its contribution to the validity of test results.
  • Conducts test stand installations, troubleshooting, setups, and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
  • Provides recommendations to engineering for equipment supplier evaluation, facility updates, and instrument specifications.
  • Performs additional duties as necessary.

  • Data Reporting - Organizes and presents testing methods, instrument settings, data, and analysis clearly for engineers and customers to understand results and form accurate conclusions.
  • Test System Design - Interprets test equipment specifications from standards or lab requirements; selects and integrates suitable equipment and software to control conditions and collect measurement data.
  • Test Setup - Interprets test plans to determine optimal configurations within a test space, adhering to safety and environmental standards.
  • Test Article Assembly - Assembles test articles according to requirements, ensuring all necessary installations for instrumentation are included for successful functional testing.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma, certificate of completion of secondary education, or equivalent experience in a relevant STEM field is required.
  • Regionally applicable certification or a two-year Associate's Degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field may be necessary.
  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Work Environment:

  • This is a 3rd shift position, typically from 10:30 PM to 7 AM, Monday to Friday.
  • Occasional overtime may be required, compensated at 1.5x.
  • Candidates must pass a background check and drug screening for this role.
