Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Translate corporate strategies into a comprehensive procurement roadmap for the fleet division.
  • Serve as a business partner and quality gate, managing the global needs of our internal stakeholders while facilitating purchasing projects across departments.
  • Research and evaluate conventional and innovative partners and strategies relevant to our operations.
  • Oversee tenders and auctions, assist with rollouts, and establish a cohesive e-Sourcing and e-Procurement strategy.
  • Conduct annual negotiations with existing partners and intermediaries, providing support to our international teams during their negotiations.
  • Assess and enhance our international quality standards, implementing them with local partners.
  • Take charge of developing a product group strategy on a global scale and ensure its effective execution.
  • Enhance Sixt's cost structure by analyzing, designing, and executing procurement initiatives.

As a knowledgeable buyer, you will serve as a professional mentor to your colleagues, sharing expertise on negotiation, project management, and procurement tools.

Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience in fleet procurement or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years in the industry.
  • In-depth understanding of fleet procurement processes and technical specifications related to vehicles.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills paired with a strong awareness of cost management.
  • Ability to perform under pressure, coupled with a collaborative spirit and assertiveness.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with vendors and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Comfortable in an agile work environment, maintaining composure amidst rapid project changes.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% for both domestic and international engagements.
Additional Information:

Salary: $85,000 - $100,000
