Position Summary:

The Warehouse Manager at Koshee will oversee all aspects of warehouse functionality and the management of vehicles and equipment for a rapidly expanding leader in concrete surfacing. This role encompasses inventory planning, material procurement, and the management of maintenance schedules for all fleet vehicles and equipment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring operational efficiency and minimizing service interruptions due to equipment failures. We seek a proactive, hands-on individual with exceptional organizational and mechanical skills to enhance the reliability and efficiency of our fleet operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the receiving, storage, and distribution processes within the warehouse.
  • Oversee inventory levels and coordinate material procurement.
  • Develop and implement warehouse practices to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Ensure the safe and effective use of warehouse machinery.
  • Maintain preventative maintenance schedules for fleet vehicles and powered equipment.
  • Conduct necessary maintenance on powered tools and equipment.
  • Coordinate repair efforts for non-operational equipment and vehicles.
  • Perform weekly inspections of vehicles to identify safety and operational concerns.
  • Facilitate urgent repairs as required.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable pricing.
  • Manage vehicle and equipment licensing and registrations.
  • Monitor and report on GPS and Fleet Cam performance issues.
  • Identify and analyze opportunities to enhance fleet operation effectiveness.
  • Ensure departmental adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Provide management with reports on budgeting, scheduling, maintenance, and fleet performance.

Management Responsibilities:

  • Supervise warehouse staff, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
  • Evaluate employee performance and lead training initiatives to enhance skills.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of experience in inventory control or warehouse settings.
  • 2+ years in warehouse management or fleet management roles.
  • 2+ years of experience in procurement or logistics.
  • Prior experience with maintenance of gasoline, diesel, and small engines.
  • OSHA 10 certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in warehouse or fleet management.
  • 3+ years of experience in procurement or logistics.
  • 3+ years of experience with maintenance of gasoline, diesel, and small engines.
  • Familiarity with GPS fleet tracking software and other organizational tools.
  • OSHA 30 certification.
  • OSHA Forklift certification.

The physical demands of this position require the ability to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 70 pounds. The role involves prolonged periods of computer work and requires effective communication skills. Employees may encounter moving machinery, temperature variations, and exposure to dust and fumes.
