Position Summary:

Are you a specialist in fleet management and procurement with a solid background in category management? As we expand our international procurement efforts within the construction and real estate sectors, we are looking to bolster our procurement team in the USA promptly. Key Responsibilities:
  • Translate corporate strategies into a comprehensive procurement roadmap for the fleet division.
  • Act as a business partner and quality gate, managing the global needs of our internal stakeholders while overseeing purchasing projects across departments.
  • Stay informed about market trends and innovative partners related to fleet procurement.
  • Facilitate tenders and auctions, support rollouts, and establish a cohesive e-Sourcing and e-Procurement strategy.
  • Conduct annual negotiations with existing partners and assist international teams in their negotiations.
  • Evaluate and enhance our international quality standards, implementing them with local partners.
  • Assume group-wide responsibility for developing and executing a product group strategy.
  • Enhance SIXT's cost structure through the analysis, design, and implementation of procurement initiatives.

As a seasoned buyer, you will serve as a professional role model for your colleagues, sharing your expertise in negotiation, project management, and procurement tools.

Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience in fleet procurement or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years in the industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of fleet procurement processes and technical specifications related to vehicles.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills paired with a strong awareness of cost management.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure, coupled with a collaborative spirit and assertiveness.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with vendors and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Comfortable in an agile work environment, maintaining composure during rapid project changes.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.
Additional Information:

Salary: $85,000 - $100,000
