This role is pivotal in steering the Capture Pursuit for the South Carolina Department of Public Safety (SCDPS). With the recent advancements in the FNPTT Application, we are poised to penetrate the South Carolina Public Safety Market, mirroring the successful strategies previously employed in Georgia with SoLinc, now in collaboration with AT&T FirstNet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and qualify opportunities within Critical Communications Public Safety Systems in South Carolina.
  • Lead the pursuit team to thoroughly assess the opportunity, ensuring that the likelihood of success is maximized throughout the capture process.
  • Formulate the winning strategy and pinpoint essential activities and resources necessary to enhance the probability of success.
  • Facilitate client-centric activities, including meetings with clients and stakeholders, in coordination with the Capture Team throughout the pursuit lifecycle.
  • Drive the team to craft compelling win strategies and validate differentiators in alignment with client priorities.
  • Collaborate with Solution Lead engineers (Broadband AT&T FirstNet) to devise a technical solution tailored to client needs.
  • Act as a color team reviewer during the proposal development phase, linking customer challenges to winning solutions in the final proposal.
  • Upon securing the SCDPS contract, strategize to capture County and local system solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant sales experience, or a Graduate Degree with at least 4 years of related sales experience. Alternatively, a minimum of 10 years of relevant sales experience may substitute for a degree.

Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Technical knowledge of MCPS Networks.
  • Exceptional presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Willingness to challenge the incumbent competitor.
  • Experience in Public Safety Sales within South Carolina.
  • Understanding of the sales process for large statewide pursuit capture programs.
  • Experience with MCPTT and Public Safety Land Mobile Radio Systems.
  • Proven track record in leading capture teams to successful outcomes.
  • Familiarity with the proposal process.
  • Strong administrative skills.
  • Experience with CRM systems.
