Position Overview

SAIC is in search of a Senior Capture Executive to spearhead growth and capture initiatives within the Space and Intelligence Business Group. This role entails directing and overseeing multiple pursuits, with primary responsibility for the maturation of proposed solutions through established Corporate Business Development and Capture Management Processes. This includes strategy formulation, competitive analysis, partnership development, and pricing strategies to ensure the creation of compliant and compelling proposals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify initial capture activities to develop a robust pipeline that aligns with the growth objectives of the Space Business Group. Lead strategic engagements with USSF and shape growth strategies to secure new business awards in the Defense Space sector.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive experience in capturing development and integration programs for space platforms and ground systems, engaging with USSF customers such as SSC and SDA.
  • Provide leadership in executing effective capture plans, adhering to internal processes while emphasizing win strategies, themes, and value propositions.
  • Manage and lead capture teams effectively, ensuring resource needs are communicated and leveraged for successful proposal development.
  • Gather, assess, and validate customer requirements while evaluating competition and conducting competitive assessments.
  • Translate customer requirements into a robust win strategy, ensuring it is thoroughly tested and validated.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to maintain operational excellence and resolve conflicts, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Identify gaps in strategies and develop plans to mitigate risks and enhance competitive advantages.
  • Conduct and participate in various reviews, documenting lessons learned and executing teaming strategies.
  • Oversee assigned captures, driving the development of critical bid artifacts and ensuring the integrity of the win strategy throughout the proposal process.
  • Assume accountability for advancing opportunities towards high win probabilities while managing budgets and schedules.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 18 years of experience in capture management or related business fields within the Civil/Commercial and/or Space sectors.
  • Must be a US citizen and able to obtain a TS clearance.
  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, with experience considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Extensive knowledge and success in the capture process, with a solid understanding of various contract types and payment structures.
  • Ability to execute proposals under tight deadlines and engage effectively with customers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence at senior corporate levels.
  • Proven track record in capture management aligned with industry best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and business acumen.
  • Experience communicating with senior executives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary to support capture efforts.

Compensation

The target salary range for this position is $200,001 - $240,000, reflecting the typical range based on experience and other factors.
