We are in search of a dynamic business leader eager to take on the role of President/CEO for two of our network companies within the restaurant sector in New Jersey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the president for two small enterprises in the restaurant sector.
  • Oversee all aspects of business strategy, operations, and financial management.
  • Lead a skilled team of existing employee owners.
Specific Duties Include:
  • Collaborating with the bookkeeper to make informed decisions regarding ongoing expenses and capital investments, enhancing efficiencies, and establishing business metrics.
  • Driving business growth through marketing initiatives, outreach efforts, and the development of new product lines and accounts.
  • Managing HR matters, including staff disputes, employee performance evaluations, salary adjustments, and bonuses.
  • Evaluating business methodologies and practices, while promoting team and growth opportunities.
  • Building relationships with customers, suppliers, and partners.
  • Working alongside Teamshares and fellow shareholders throughout the transition to employee ownership, mentoring and collaborating with them to foster an owner's mindset that enhances business outcomes and company culture.
  • Being a proactive leader who enjoys collaborating with employee owners to optimize company operations and expand revenue streams.
Qualifications:
  • A robust background in restaurant management, with a proven history of leading teams and operational processes.
  • Exceptional communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to fostering constructive collaboration among all employees.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities through previous work experiences.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; a humble approach.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for building.
  • Proven project management and problem-solving skills, coupled with a hands-on, results-oriented attitude.
  • Business acumen and analytical proficiency to oversee financials and formulate business strategies.
  • A growth-oriented mindset and a readiness to explore innovative ideas; open to learning from experiences.
  • An adaptable, open-minded approach, skilled in both creative and critical thinking, with a flexible, generous attitude and a natural inclination to take action.
  • The ability to collaborate with stakeholders to establish a clear vision, define measurable KPIs, and devise strategies to meet financial objectives.
