Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial business leader to serve as the President/CEO of two of our network companies in the restaurant industry, located in the New Jersey area.
Key Responsibilities:- Serve as president of two small businesses in the restaurant industry, responsible for increasing profitability and successfully transitioning the business to employee ownership.
- Determine and be responsible for all business strategy, operations, and P&L management.
- Lead an experienced team of existing employee owners, working collaboratively to drive business growth and success.
- Work with the bookkeeper to make informed decisions about ongoing expenses and capital purchases, gaining efficiencies and developing business metrics.
- Grow the business through marketing, outreach, and developing new product lines and accounts, driving revenue growth and expansion.
- Handle HR personnel matters, staff disputes, employee performance, job reviews, raises, and bonuses, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
- Analyze business methods and practices, promoting team and growth opportunities, and driving business improvement initiatives.
- Develop relationships with customers, vendors, and partners, fostering strong business relationships and driving business growth.
- Work with Teamshares and fellow shareholders throughout the transition to employee ownership, coaching and partnering with them to understand how adopting an owner's mindset drives better business outcomes and company culture.
- Be a growth leader who enjoys working with employee owners to improve company operations and expand revenue opportunities, driving business success and growth.
- A strong background in restaurant operations, with a proven track record of managing teams and operational processes.
- Ability to communicate clearly, problem solve, and ensure constructive collaboration with all employees.
- Demonstrated people leadership skills through past work experiences.
