The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in staff leadership, business development, and policy implementation, ensuring regulatory compliance and financial management in the healthcare industry. Additionally, they will have a strong ability to build relationships with staff, residents, and community organizations.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the overall operations of the facility, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to drive quality improvement and resident satisfaction.
- Lead and direct the staff, including recruitment, hiring, and training.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to drive census growth and position the facility as a premier Assisted Living community.
- Manage budgets and financial resources to ensure the facility's financial stability.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.
- Requirements:
- At least 3-5 years of experience as an Administrator in an Assisted Living facility.
- Current and active NJ State License.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Health Care Administration or equivalent experience.
- Extensive knowledge of current federal, state, local, and corporate guidelines and regulations governing management in Assisted Living healthcare facilities.
- Knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare procedures and applicable policies.
- Well-versed in Dept. of Health regulations, Labor law, OSHA, etc.
- Experienced in preparing and maintaining budgets.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with staff, residents, and stakeholders.
