Position Summary:

We are in search of a Retail Account Executive to oversee our expanding retail partnerships. This position will handle daily customer engagement and collaborate with various teams to implement our strategic vision in the retail sector. Reporting to the Senior Account Manager, this role is crucial for driving our retail initiatives.

This is a full-time position offering comprehensive company benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers at major retailers to enhance Dr. Squatch's omnichannel presence.
  • Collaborate with brokers, distributors, and external partners to formulate effective short- and long-term strategies tailored to each account.
  • Work alongside the Director of Retail Sales to develop and implement sales strategies aimed at increasing market share and consumer engagement.
  • Partner with the marketing team to create visually appealing merchandising displays that elevate Dr. Squatch's brand presence.
  • Design and manage trade promotions and customer budgets for each account.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to support retail initiatives effectively.
  • Provide essential materials and resources for the sales team, including sales presentations and promotional materials.
  • Contribute to account-specific demand forecasting.
  • Collaborate with the commercialization team to ensure seamless execution of new product launches within retail accounts.

Candidate Profile:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Account Management within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector, preferably in personal care or wellness.
  • A mix of experience with both established brands and emerging companies.
  • Strong connections or prior experience with tier 1 retailers.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting ambitious sales targets.
  • Experience managing multiple broker networks.
  • Proficient in optimizing performance and overseeing third-party merchandising teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of national accounts, brokers, and distributors.
  • Experience in scaling brands and pioneering retail sales is highly advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Genuine interest in health, wellness, personal care, and eCommerce.
  • Prior experience in the consumer products industry is strongly preferred.
  • A proactive problem-solver who thrives in dynamic environments.
  • A team player who maintains a positive attitude and fosters collaboration.
