Position Summary:

We are seeking a Retail Account Executive to oversee our expanding retail partnerships. This role will be responsible for the daily execution of customer needs while collaborating to implement our long-term retail strategies. You will work closely with our operations, product, and marketing teams to drive initiatives that support our retail partners. This position reports to the Senior Account Manager.

This is a full-time position with comprehensive company benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers at major retailers to enhance Dr. Squatch's omnichannel presence.
  • Collaborate with brokers, distributors, and external partners to create mutually beneficial strategies for both short and long-term goals.
  • Partner with the Director of Retail Sales to develop and implement sales strategies aimed at increasing market share and household penetration.
  • Work alongside our marketing team to design and execute visually appealing merchandising displays for Dr. Squatch products.
  • Develop and manage trade promotion strategies and customer budgets for each account.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to facilitate retail initiatives effectively.
  • Prepare and manage sales materials and presentations necessary for outreach efforts.
  • Provide insights for account-specific demand forecasting.
  • Collaborate with the commercialization team to ensure seamless execution of new product launches within your accounts.

Candidate Profile:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Account Management within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector, preferably in personal care or wellness.
  • A blend of experience with both established brands and emerging companies.
  • Strong connections or prior experience with tier 1 food, drug, and mass retailers.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting ambitious sales targets.
  • Experience managing multiple broker networks and optimizing performance with third-party merchandising teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of the national accounts landscape, including brokers and distributors.
  • Experience in scaling brands and driving retail sales is highly advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Genuine interest in health, wellness, personal care, and eCommerce.
  • Experience in the consumer products industry is highly desirable.
  • A proactive individual who can innovate and work efficiently under limited resources.
  • A person with high standards who takes ownership and is committed to outcomes.
  • A team player who supports others, maintains a positive attitude, and possesses a good sense of humor.
