Your Role

As a Solutions Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in helping clients recognize the inadequacies of traditional data management in a cloud-centric environment. Your responsibilities will include designing and delivering impactful demonstrations that address customer challenges by highlighting Odaseva's unique capabilities and features.

You will engage with a diverse range of customer stakeholders, from end-users to C-level executives, requiring adaptability in your communication style—whether it be strategic discussions or detailed technical conversations. Your goal will be to cultivate meaningful relationships with clients and establish yourself as a trusted advisor.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the sales team by adopting a consultative approach during customer evaluations, crafting technical proposals, architectural recommendations, and presentations.
  • Collaborate closely with enterprise business stakeholders to identify technical challenges and objectives related to data management, subsequently developing tailored solutions.
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations that effectively connect complex technologies with advanced audiences.
  • Confidently articulate the business value of proposed solutions to business managers and executives.
  • Plan and execute multiple customer proof-of-concept projects to identify success factors, configure functionalities, and facilitate deal closures.
  • Manage several customer engagements simultaneously.
  • Represent Odaseva at marketing events and conferences.
  • Address technical RFP inquiries.
  • Relay customer needs and product feedback to Sales, Engineering, Expert Services, and Product teams.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 20%, post-COVID.
Qualifications:
  • 12+ years of experience in a comparable pre-sales role, providing solutions to enterprise clients.
  • Technical expertise in SaaS solutions and cloud-based data management.
  • A comprehensive understanding of security, cybersecurity issues, and compliance regulations.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Salesforce platform and its ecosystem.
  • Exceptional presentation and demonstration skills, emphasizing active listening and clear communication.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks, take ownership, and drive projects to successful completion.
  • Capability to collaborate within a global team to resolve business and technical challenges.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, focusing on requirement gathering, solution development, and articulating business value.
  • Salesforce certification is advantageous.
