Role Responsibilities
As Canva continues to grow, adaptability remains at the core of our operations. In this role, you will be involved in:
  • Leading a dynamic team of solution and support engineers, fostering a collaborative and open environment where every member can make a significant impact.
  • Facilitating communication between developers and internal teams to effectively address technical inquiries and challenges.
  • Creating and refining processes and tools to support our rapidly expanding Enterprise and Developer community.
  • Managing and executing cross-team initiatives and projects from conception to completion, exercising autonomy and decision-making authority.
  • Delivering compelling presentations and demonstrations, assisting in the development of demo agendas, and preparing software demo presentations for developers.
  • Representing developers by articulating their technical needs to product and engineering teams, as well as API requirements to the Ecosystem product and engineering teams.
  • Enhancing engagement within our developer community while advocating for their needs within the organization by highlighting their challenges, feedback, and feature requests.

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop a high-performing engineering team.
  • Strong foundation in computer science and engineering principles, with experience in web application development.
  • Experience in API development, integration, and web solution creation.
  • A minimum of 6 years in sales engineering, solutions architecture, technical consulting, or a related field.
  • Exceptional technical troubleshooting abilities in an Enterprise SaaS environment.
  • Background in custom extension/integration development across various web platforms and app marketplaces.
  • A customer-centric approach and demeanor.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
