Your Role
As a Solutions Engineer, you will guide clients in recognizing the inadequacies of traditional data management in a cloud-centric environment. Integral to the sales process, you will conceptualize and deliver demonstrations that address client challenges by highlighting Odaseva's unique capabilities and features.
Engaging with a diverse range of customer representatives, from end-users to C-suite executives, you will need to tailor your communication style to suit each interaction, whether it be strategic or highly technical. Throughout this journey, you will cultivate meaningful relationships with clients, aspiring to become their trusted advisor.
Your responsibilities will encompass:- Assisting the sales team by adopting a consultative approach during client evaluations, crafting technical proposals, architectural recommendations, and presentations.
- Collaborating closely with enterprise stakeholders to identify technical challenges and objectives related to data management, subsequently devising effective solutions.
- Delivering compelling product demonstrations that effectively connect sophisticated technology with advanced audiences.
- Confidently articulating the business value of your proposed solutions to business managers and executives.
- Planning and executing multiple customer proof of concept projects to identify success factors, configure functionalities, and facilitate deal closures.
- Managing several customer engagements simultaneously.
- Presenting at marketing events and conferences.
- Addressing technical RFP inquiries.
- Communicating customer requirements and product feedback to Sales, Engineering, Expert Services, and Product teams.
- Willingness to travel approximately 20%, post-COVID.
- A minimum of 12 years of experience in a similar pre-sales role, providing solutions to enterprise clients.
- A solid technical understanding of SaaS solutions and cloud-based data management.
- A comprehensive grasp of security, cybersecurity topics, and compliance regulations.
- In-depth knowledge of the Salesforce platform and its ecosystem.
- Exceptional presentation and demonstration skills, emphasizing active listening and clear communication.
- The ability to prioritize effectively, take ownership, and drive projects to successful completion.
- A collaborative spirit, working as part of a global team to resolve business and technical challenges.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, focusing on capturing requirements, developing solutions, and articulating business value.
- Salesforce certification is advantageous.
