Your Role

As a Solutions Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in helping clients recognize that traditional data management approaches are insufficient in a cloud-centric environment. You will be responsible for designing and delivering demonstrations that address customer challenges by highlighting Odaseva's unique capabilities and features.

Engaging with a diverse range of customer contacts, from end-users to C-level executives, you will need to adapt your communication style to suit each interaction, whether it be strategic discussions or in-depth technical conversations. Throughout this process, you will cultivate meaningful relationships with clients, striving to become a trusted advisor.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Assisting the sales team by adopting a consultative approach during customer evaluations, creating technical proposals, architectural recommendations, and presentations.
  • Collaborating closely with enterprise business stakeholders to identify technical challenges and objectives related to data management, subsequently developing tailored solutions.
  • Delivering compelling product demonstrations that effectively connect complex technologies with advanced audiences.
  • Confidently articulating the business value of proposed solutions to business managers and executives.
  • Planning and executing multiple customer proof of concept projects to identify success factors, configure functionalities, and guide deals to closure.
  • Managing multiple customer engagements simultaneously.
  • Presenting at marketing events and conferences.
  • Responding to technical RFP inquiries.
  • Communicating customer needs and product feedback to Sales, Engineering, Expert Services, and Product teams.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 20%, post-COVID.
You will bring:
  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in a comparable pre-sales role, providing solutions to enterprise clients.
  • A strong technical understanding of SaaS solutions and cloud-based data management.
  • A comprehensive knowledge of security, cybersecurity topics, and compliance regulations.
  • In-depth familiarity with the Salesforce platform and ecosystem.
  • Exceptional presentation and demonstration skills, emphasizing active listening and clear communication.
  • The ability to prioritize tasks, take ownership, and drive projects to successful completion.
  • A collaborative spirit, working effectively as part of a global team to address business and technical challenges.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on capturing requirements, developing solutions, and articulating business value.
  • Salesforce certification is advantageous.
