Your Role

As a Solutions Engineer, you will play a crucial role in helping clients recognize the inadequacies of traditional data management in a cloud-centric environment. You will be responsible for designing and delivering demonstrations that address customer challenges by highlighting Odaseva's features and capabilities.

Engaging with a diverse range of customer contacts, from end-users to C-level executives, you will need to adapt your communication style to suit each interaction, whether it be strategic discussions or detailed technical conversations. This role will enable you to forge meaningful relationships with clients and establish yourself as a trusted advisor.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the sales team by adopting a consultative approach during customer evaluations, crafting technical proposals, architectural recommendations, and presentations.
  • Collaborate closely with enterprise business stakeholders to identify technical challenges and objectives related to data management, subsequently developing tailored solutions.
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations that effectively connect complex technologies with advanced audiences.
  • Confidently articulate the business value of proposed solutions to business managers and executives.
  • Plan and execute multiple customer proof of concept projects to identify success factors, configure and showcase functionalities, and guide deals to closure.
  • Manage multiple customer engagements simultaneously.
  • Present at marketing events and conferences.
  • Address technical RFP inquiries.
  • Relay customer needs and product feedback to Sales, Engineering, Expert Services, and Product teams.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 20%, post-COVID.
Qualifications:
  • 12+ years of experience in a similar pre-sales role, providing solutions to enterprise clients.
  • Technical proficiency in SaaS solutions and cloud-based data management.
  • A comprehensive understanding of security, cybersecurity issues, and compliance regulations.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Salesforce platform and its ecosystem.
  • Exceptional presentation and demonstration skills, emphasizing active listening and clear communication.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, take ownership, and drive projects to completion.
  • Capability to collaborate within a global team to address business and technical challenges.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, focusing on capturing requirements, developing solutions, and conveying business value.
  • Salesforce certification is advantageous.
