Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Account Coordinator to join our team at Steelcase. As an Account Coordinator, you will be the hub of our account activity, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the successful completion of account work and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service and support to clients, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process and track orders, including submitting POs to vendors, requesting deposits from customers, and reviewing vendor acknowledgments.
  • Coordinate with customers and AMQ warehouse personnel for will-call shipments and day-to-day scheduling of in-stock shipments.
  • Process in-house requests for mockup, demo, and showroom orders.
  • Attend AMQ Solutions meetings and training sessions, and participate in team meetings and events to promote team effectiveness and synergy.
  • Interact with coworkers on-site, attend meetings, and be available for in-person communication.
  • Ability to handle stress, focus, give attention to detail, and learn new tasks quickly.
  • Be organized and meet deadlines, working closely with Sales/Territory Managers to serve diverse and sometimes difficult and demanding clients.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college and at least three years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Product knowledge, project management experience, excellent customer service skills, professional oral and written communication skills, strong organizational and time management skills, basic math skills, attention to detail, self-motivation, resourcefulness, ability to function in a team environment, positive and professional attitude, sense of urgency, and drive.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
