Overview:

Role Summary:

As a pivotal member of the AMQ team, you will serve as the central point for account management, collaborating closely with Sales and cross-functional teams. Your responsibilities will encompass delivering exceptional customer service, managing order conversions, and maintaining account relationships. You will work effectively within AMQ Solutions, liaising with clients and professionals to ensure the successful execution of account projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project and in-stock order processing, including:
    • Submitting purchase orders to vendors
    • Providing order acknowledgments to customers
    • Requesting necessary deposits from clients
    • Reviewing backorders and coordinating split shipments
  • Review vendor acknowledgments and update the ERP system accordingly
  • Serve as a backup for Punch & Warranty Fulfillment as required
  • Engage with customers daily, addressing both external and internal inquiries promptly
  • Ensure the accuracy of documentation and maintain organized electronic files and order status reports
  • Coordinate will-call shipments with customers and AMQ warehouse staff
  • Schedule daily in-stock shipments
  • Process internal requests for mockups, demos, and showroom orders
  • Participate in AMQ Solutions meetings and training sessions to foster team collaboration and effectiveness
  • Maintain consistent and reliable attendance
  • Interact with colleagues on-site and be available for in-person communication
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage stress, focus on tasks, and learn new responsibilities quickly
  • Exhibit strong organizational skills and meet deadlines
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and maintain open communication
  • Work closely with Sales/Territory Managers to support diverse client needs, including challenging and demanding situations
  • Adapt to unexpected challenges and deadlines while maintaining a high level of self-motivation
  • Complete additional assignments as needed

Education and Experience:

An associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college, combined with at least three years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. A minimum of three years of experience in a related industry is advantageous.
