Customer Account Coordinator for AMQ Solutions

Position Overview:

As a vital member of the AMQ Solutions team, you will play a crucial role in managing account activities and ensuring seamless communication between clients and internal teams. Your primary responsibility will be to assist with both ongoing and new accounts, collaborating closely with Sales and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Process project and in-stock orders efficiently.
  2. Submit purchase orders to vendors and manage order acknowledgments.
  3. Request deposits from customers and review backorders for optimal shipment planning.
  4. Maintain accurate records in the ERP system and provide backup support for warranty fulfillment as needed.
  5. Engage with customers daily, addressing their needs promptly and effectively.
  6. Ensure all paperwork is accurate and maintain organized electronic files and order status reports.
  7. Coordinate will-call shipments with customers and AMQ warehouse personnel.
  8. Schedule in-stock shipments on a daily basis.
  9. Process internal requests for mockups, demos, and showroom orders.
  10. Participate in AMQ Solutions meetings and training sessions to foster team effectiveness.
  11. Exhibit reliable attendance and be available for in-person collaboration.
  12. Demonstrate the ability to manage stress, maintain focus, and pay attention to detail.
  13. Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively.
  14. Support Sales/Territory Managers in serving diverse clients and assist Account Managers as needed.
  15. Adapt to unexpected challenges and deadlines with a high level of self-motivation.
  16. Complete additional assignments as required.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Product knowledge and project management experience.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and professional communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Basic math skills and a keen attention to detail.
  • A positive and professional attitude with a sense of urgency.
  • Familiarity with internal ordering systems is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Education and Experience:

A minimum of an associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college, along with at least three years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience that meets these criteria.
