The Office Support Specialist I undertakes a variety of administrative tasks to assist different levels of personnel within the organization. This role involves coordinating multiple projects and generating reports and information that may be highly confidential and critical, aligning with the objectives of local management and CorVel Corporation.

This is a temporary position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responds to phone calls and manages inquiries effectively. May open, review, prioritize, route, and distribute incoming correspondence and materials. May organize and maintain scheduling and event calendars, including travel arrangements, appointments, meetings, and conference calls. Responsible for organizing and maintaining document storage systems. May create and prepare presentations, memos, reports, correspondence, and various projects. May coordinate travel, meetings, and other events, while monitoring calendars and room bookings. May assist with basic accounting tasks. Requires consistent attendance, reliability, and accountability in fulfilling responsibilities. Adheres to all safety regulations and guidelines during working hours. Additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize workload with minimal supervision. Proficient in identifying, analyzing, and resolving issues. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Excellent interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred. 1 – 2 years of experience in administrative support roles.

COMPENSATION:

CorVel employs a market-based approach to compensation, and salary ranges may vary based on location and other factors. Pay rates are determined by federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, geographic location differentials, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal equity, and market conditions. Salary ranges may be adjusted at any time.

For leveled positions (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.), new hires may be assigned to a different level based on an assessment during the interview process, considering experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role. This level may influence the salary range, and adjustments will be clarified during the offer process.

Pay Rate: $19.43 per hour.
