Job Summary:

As a key member of our culinary team, the Sous Chef will play a vital role in ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction and delivering outstanding culinary experiences. Reporting to the Executive Chef, this dynamic leader will oversee the back of house operations, including staff supervision, inventory management, and food quality control. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Executive Chef in managing the back of house staff, including training, development, and performance evaluation
• Achieve or exceed budgeted labor and cost centers through effective planning and execution
• Oversee weekly and monthly inventories, and ordering of food and supplies
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and organization in the kitchen, adhering to OSHA regulations

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of culinary management experience in an upscale or fine dining establishment
• Strong knowledge of back of house operations, including staff supervision, inventory control, and food/labor cost management
• Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills
• Stable and progressive work history, with a strong work ethic
• Graduate of an accredited culinary program is a plus
