Executive Sous Chef Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Executive Sous Chef to join our team at Gecko Hospitality in Boston, MA. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for driving profits through cost analysis and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and safety.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead high-volume kitchen operations and ensure seamless execution of menu items
  • Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives to drive profitability
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health codes and regulations
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement menu items and promotions
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing kitchen team
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of Sous Chef experience in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Proven track record of achieving results and building a winning team
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Knowledge of Labor Laws, Health Codes, Safe Food Handling and Sanitation, safety and security systems and procedures
