Eaton's Electronics Division (ELXD) is in search of a Senior Technical Sales Manager. This role offers the flexibility of remote work options in various locations across the United States.

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $ $ a year, along with eligibility for a variable incentive program.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will possess a robust background in the sales of electronic products, particularly in magnetics for computing applications, including rapidly evolving AI acceleration cards and power modules for GPUs. Responsibilities include:

  • Identifying Sales Opportunities: Actively seek and assess sales prospects for Eaton Electronics' magnetics inductors within the AI acceleration card and power module sectors.
  • Building Customer Relationships: Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key customers, including industry leaders, to foster loyalty and preference.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct thorough market research to understand customer preferences, industry trends, and competitive dynamics, using insights to enhance sales strategies and product positioning.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality, timely delivery, and optimal customer satisfaction.
  • Market Expansion: Utilize existing customer relationships and industry knowledge to explore new markets and increase Eaton's market share.
  • Sales Campaigns: Partner with marketing and product teams to design and implement targeted sales initiatives that resonate with intended audiences.
  • Sales Management: Develop and oversee a strong sales pipeline, negotiate contracts, and track progress to meet quarterly and annual sales objectives.
Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 10 years of sales experience or a technical background in electronics components for power management integrated circuits (PMIC).
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
  • Current residency in one of the specified job locations is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited institution.
Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of the magnetics inductor market, including competitors.
  • Proven negotiation and closing skills, with a history of meeting sales targets.
  • Basic understanding of power magnetics and power electronics technology.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively presenting product features to diverse audiences.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for customer engagements.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
  • Experience with key customers in the AI acceleration domain.
  • Understanding of the electronics supply chain and distribution channels.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese is preferred but not mandatory.
