Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is on the lookout for a driven and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Clinical Sales Executive.

In this pivotal sales position, you will be tasked with meeting annual revenue targets for both consumables and capital equipment within the clinical sector of the Microbiology Division.

This role presents a unique chance to engage with premier products, including Culture Media, Viral Transport Media, and advanced Capital Instrumentation such as APAS Automation and SensititreTM.


As a Clinical Sales Executive, you will partner with technical sales teams to conduct presentations and demonstrations, arrange site visits, and achieve your annual sales quota for the designated region.

Your focus will be on nurturing existing accounts to promote our media and automation solutions, identifying new business opportunities, and strategically converting prospects to our MBD solutions.


Joining a collaborative team of 7 Sales Executives in the West Region, you will work closely with the Regional Business Manager, Instrument Sales Specialist, Key Account Manager, and an Inside Sales Representative.


Your key responsibilities will include:
• Identifying potential buyers of Thermo Fisher products and services to establish new accounts and expand market presence

• Developing new contracts and finalizing orders with end users and procurement departments

• Maintaining accurate and comprehensive customer data and sales information in the company sales database

• Delivering technical and business presentations at trade shows and customer events

• Achieving key performance indicators set by sales leadership


To excel in this role, candidates should possess a degree in a Life Science discipline, preferably Biology, or equivalent industry experience.

Familiarity with sales in a clinical diagnostic environment is essential.

Ideally, candidates will have over 5 years of consultative sales experience in a technical setting or possess strong technical knowledge gained as a lab supervisor or technician.

Proficiency in English and the ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory are also required.
