Your primary objective within our dynamic and multidisciplinary sales team will be to identify and assess customer requirements, translating these insights into effective sales strategies.

During the proposal phase, you will be tasked with delivering solutions to intricate technical and business challenges, particularly focusing on data and process evaluations, as well as conceptual development.

You will serve as the principal consultant for clients, guiding them toward optimal solutions. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for preparing competitive, high-quality proposals.

Within the team, you will take the lead on conceptualization and quotations, and you will also play a vital role in the transition to operations and the project implementation phase on-site.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical capabilities, enabling you to develop conceptual solutions based on your understanding of customer logistics.
  • Exceptional skills in data analysis and preparation.
  • Experience in estimating costs and pricing for large, complex projects involving various types of equipment.
  • Ability to comprehend equipment usage and assist in its selection and specification.
  • Strong organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in commonly used software applications.
  • Analytical aptitude to understand customer processes, system throughput, and automation equipment applications.
  • Well-developed influencing skills, both internally and externally.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a creative and efficient approach to building professional client relationships.
  • Experience in an international professional environment, preferably within a project-based organization.

Experience:

  • Master's degree in a technical field with a strong preference for business-to-business environments.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in complex sales processes, ideally within the automated material handling sector.
  • 10 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in Material Handling Systems or Logistics.
  • Extensive knowledge of Material Handling Equipment (MHE), whether in mechanical, control, or electrical systems, with a willingness to expand knowledge in other areas.
  • Experience with 3D modeling tools and standard business software.
  • Adept at working effectively in an entrepreneurial international organization, often navigating organizational, geographic, and cultural boundaries.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 5-10% of your time).

This is a full-time, exempt position, eligible for a competitive salary and participation in an annual performance bonus program.

Salary Rate: $133,000 - $147,000
