Key Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of Google Cloud Platform offerings and the business challenges they address.
  • Recognize the value transfer involved in selling professional services and navigate the associated deal structures and purchasing processes.
  • Establish and nurture robust co-selling partnerships with key collaborators such as Google Cloud and relevant ISVs.
  • Take charge of the sales process by effectively coordinating internal resources, including Cloud Engineers, Solution Engineers, Customer Success Managers, Executive Sponsors, and others.
  • Skillfully structure, compose, and present proposals and presentations while adeptly overcoming objections.
  • Lead the formulation and implementation of a long-term strategy for an account that aligns with customer business objectives.
  • Communicate the compelling value proposition of SADA to both existing and prospective clients.
  • Forge executive relationships with clients to influence their long-term technology and business strategies.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by providing valuable insights and executing follow-through actions.
  • Identify, qualify, and finalize sales with both existing and new accounts, emphasizing solutions and professional services.
  • Develop a strong sales pipeline comprising large and medium-sized deals to meet your bookings and revenue goals.
  • Effectively manage and communicate your sales forecast, including the status of the sales pipeline and potential risks to achieving target bookings.
  • Acquire a solid understanding of Google Cloud, achieving your Cloud Digital Leader Certification within three months of joining SADA.
  • Collaborate with your team, consistently supporting your colleagues and the broader SADA community. A positive attitude is essential in this role.

Expectations

Required Travel - Expect to travel 25% of the time to client sites, conferences, and related events.

Customer Engagement - Regular interaction with clients is expected, ranging from daily to weekly or bi-weekly engagements. Common touchpoints include qualifying potential opportunities, project kickoffs, ongoing progress updates, and project closures. You will engage with various customer stakeholders, including engineers, technical project managers, and executives.

Onboarding/Training - The initial weeks of onboarding will focus on learning, including materials, assignments, compliance training, and meetings with relevant individuals. A detailed timeline will be provided closer to your start date.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in selling professional and/or managed services within the technology sector.
  • Proven track record of consistently surpassing sales targets.
  • Understanding of outcome-based selling is essential.
  • Ability to discuss GCP, Google Workspace, and managed/professional services with expertise.
  • Proficient in negotiating contracts, deliverables, and pricing.
  • Experience in developing outcome-focused sales proposals.
  • Strong executive presence with excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in selling Google Cloud products and services or other public cloud solutions.
  • Comfortable in boardroom settings, providing guidance to senior leadership and establishing trusted advisor status.
  • Experience in value-based selling, conducting Discovery sessions to identify customer pain points and business objectives.
  • Collaborate effectively with technical teams to align solutions and services that address these challenges and facilitate business transformation.
  • Demonstrated success in managing large, complex commercial and legal negotiations involving procurement, legal, and business teams.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $100,000-$150,000 + sales incentive (commission) + benefits. Individual compensation within this range is determined based on job-related skills, experience, relevant education/certification or training, and work location.
