Position Overview

The AECOM Transportation Division is seeking a dynamic and driven Construction Management Leader for Southern Wisconsin. This role will be based in our office and will involve overseeing a diverse range of highway and bridge projects for various clients. This position presents substantial opportunities for professional development.

The Construction Management Leader will possess a solid background in Construction Management/Construction Engineering & Inspection (CM/CEI) specifically for highway and bridge projects. Responsibilities include direct oversight of CM/CEI personnel and projects in designated regions. The leader will strategically plan and deliver on essential CM/CEI project requirements and initiatives. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing projects to ensure compliance with quality standards, timelines, and budgetary constraints.
  • Identifying growth opportunities and leading teams to capitalize on these prospects.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including industry organizations and potential consulting partners.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • U.S. citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.
  • A valid Driver's License is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • Registered Professional Engineer in Wisconsin.
  • Over 10 years of experience managing WisDOT projects and clients, with a proven track record of overseeing multiple concurrent projects.
  • Experience in employee supervision, management, and mentorship.
  • Willingness to travel as needed within the designated regions.
