The selected candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Examine working drawings, including architectural, structural, mechanical, civil, electrical, and landscaping plans, focusing on details, feasibility, alternative methods, conflicts, and dimensions.
  • Assess the Building Specification to verify material, subcontractor, and equipment criteria while identifying potential conflicts within project documentation.
  • Oversee and manage the jobsite, including trailer setup, signage, material staging, vehicle access, and temporary utility provisions. Ensure an organized system for maintaining project plans, communications, correspondence, and subcontracts.
  • Implement and coordinate safety measures and applicable company programs for the project to comply with OSHA standards, ensuring a secure work environment.
  • Foster a positive relationship with clients, concentrating on identifying the critical path necessary to achieve the owner's desired timeline.
  • Conduct regular project inspections with a focus on addressing the owner's concerns.
  • Monitor labor productivity on the project and keep the company informed of any deviations from the initial budgets.
  • Review construction documents to determine required material quantities, monitoring actual project material needs and keeping the company updated on any budget deviations.
  • Thoroughly review, coordinate, and implement the quality assurance program established for the project.
  • Analyze project shop drawings and construction documents to ensure coordination among different disciplines regarding the actual project layout and site conditions.
  • Evaluate the project punchlist and supervise the completion of all necessary project disciplines to obtain a certificate of occupancy.
Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in construction, ideally in multi-family projects, with a background in rough carpentry, finish carpentry, and concrete work preferred.
  • A college degree is advantageous.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all construction aspects (technology, equipment, methods, etc.).
  • Familiarity with the local market is preferred.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with a demonstrated ability to complete projects on schedule.
  • Capability to identify, investigate, and quantify project issues along with potential alternatives and their implications.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively and build solid client relationships.
  • Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore, Timberline, Bluebeam, CMiC, PlanGrid, Textura, and Field ID.
  • Competence in using the internet and Microsoft Office 365.
