Multi-family Construction Opportunity We are seeking a seasoned construction Project Superintendent with a proven history of successfully delivering multi-family housing, senior living, student housing, and hospitality projects. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective execution of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Examine working drawings, including architectural, structural, mechanical, civil, electrical, and landscaping plans, focusing on details, buildability, alternative methods, conflicts, and dimensions.
  • Assess the Building Specification to verify material, subcontractor, and equipment criteria while identifying potential conflicts within project documents.
  • Oversee and manage the jobsite, including trailer setup, signage, material staging, vehicle access, and temporary utility access. Establish an organized system for maintaining project plans, communication, correspondence, and subcontracts.
  • Review, coordinate, and implement safety measures and applicable company programs for the project to comply with OSHA standards and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Foster a positive relationship with clients, concentrating on identifying the critical path necessary to achieve the owner's desired schedule.
  • Conduct regular project inspections with a focus on addressing the owner's concerns.
  • Monitor labor productivity on the project and keep the company informed of any deviations from the original budgets.
  • Analyze project construction documents to determine required material quantities. Track actual material needs and inform the company of any discrepancies from the original budgets.
  • Thoroughly review, coordinate, and implement the quality assurance program developed for the project.
  • Examine project shop drawings and construction documents to ensure coordination among different disciplines regarding the actual project layout and site conditions.
  • Review the project punchlist and supervise the completion of all project disciplines necessary to obtain a certificate of occupancy.
Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in construction, ideally in multi-family construction, with a background in rough carpentry, finish carpentry, and concrete work preferred.
  • A college education is advantageous.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods, etc.).
  • Familiarity with the local market is preferred.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with a demonstrated ability to deliver projects on schedule.
  • Capability to identify, investigate, and quantify project issues along with corresponding alternatives and consequences.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively with others and build solid client relationships.
  • Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore, Timberline, Bluebeam, CMiC, PlanGrid, Textura, and Field ID.
  • Ability to utilize the internet and Microsoft Office 365 effectively.
