Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Distribution Development Representative to join our team at KEMET. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive sales growth and expand our distribution network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals
  • Work closely with the sales team to establish and implement distribution territory strategies
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers, distributors, and partners
  • Develop and deliver quarterly business reviews and presentations to stakeholders
  • Build and maintain a strong network of distribution partners and customers
  • Provide regular market updates and insights to distribution account managers
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and customer engagements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
  • Previous sales experience preferred, but not required
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to present and moderate materials to diverse audiences
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
