We are in search of a driven and results-focused professional for the position of Medical Sales Consultant to oversee a specified territory.

Reporting to the District Manager, this role is essential in supporting the promotion of our product range within the designated area by:

  • Collaborating regularly with the District Manager to align on daily sales strategies and promotional activities
  • Exhibiting a strong entrepreneurial spirit to grow and manage your business by executing sales and branding strategies for assigned products
  • Analyzing territory data to develop, implement, and take ownership of your territory business plans to strengthen customer relationships and enhance sales performance
  • Engaging with targeted Healthcare Providers (HCPs), key office staff, local and national Key Opinion Leaders, and pharmacy personnel to effectively promote and educate on our products through meetings, presentations, and educational programs
  • Strategically identifying and establishing relationships with new potential clients
  • Utilizing your sales acumen and product knowledge to influence HCPs to prescribe our promoted products
  • Optimizing routing, sales tools, and resources to achieve sales objectives.
  • Demonstrating a mindset akin to a business owner for your territory
  • Continuously seeking innovative methods to improve results and employing problem-solving skills to devise and implement new strategies
  • Being a collaborative team player who can work independently as well as with internal and external partners
  • Effectively communicating complex information

Responsibilities


This role is part of our Primary Care & Dermatology Specialty Team, which collaborates with pharmaceutical and biotechnology firms to create and execute sales and marketing strategies that yield results.

In this capacity, you will promote and co-promote products within our portfolio that are either wholly owned or co-promoted with long-standing clients.


The selected candidate will play a vital role in a nationwide sales team, managing an assigned territory within a defined geographic area.


Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Actively demonstrating and promoting the client's products to both targeted and non-targeted physicians and healthcare professionals in your territory, while developing a comprehensive territory business plan to influence their prescribing choices
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key customers in the territory to foster loyalty towards the company and its products
  • Managing the territory budget to support sales and marketing initiatives
  • Utilizing a defined selling model to secure maximum commitment from customers during each interaction to drive positive engagement results
  • Developing programs to enhance customer engagement and assist in achieving business objectives. Analyzing competitive information, market trends, and industry developments to adapt to changing conditions
  • Leveraging knowledge of clinical studies and managed care to consult with and influence customer relationships. Tailoring discussions with physicians based on their specific needs
  • Participating in ongoing learning and development programs, including technical updates and professional skills enhancement.
