Position Overview:

The Customer Service Excellence Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations of key customer accounts within our strategic portfolio. This position acts as a support to the Account Manager and is essential in fostering and maintaining robust relationships with client contacts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and respond to load tenders in accordance with contractual obligations.
  • Facilitate spot quote opportunities for load tenders outside of contractual commitments and accurately create loads manually in the Transportation Management System (TMS) for clients not utilizing EDI.
  • Coordinate order scheduling through customer communication channels, ensuring compliance with service hours and transit timelines for timely deliveries.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact, proactively addressing service challenges or equipment limitations while nurturing relationships with daily contacts across assigned customer accounts.
  • Monitor and track loads daily, ensuring accurate data for timely billing and collections.
  • Maintain a fundamental understanding of all assigned backup accounts to ensure seamless operations during the absence of other Service Representatives.
  • Manage customer service expectations and engage in regular account reviews with clients and assigned sales executives to identify growth opportunities, coordinating with the Account Manager and Sales Executive as necessary.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in customer service.
  • Proficient computer skills, including typing and 10-key.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong written communication abilities.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Capacity to work collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Adaptability to organizational changes.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Knowledge gained through up to 12 months of relevant work experience.

This position is based in an office environment.
