Position Summary
We are looking for an Associate to join our Global Investor Relations Team based in Charlotte. This role is essential for supporting our U.S. team while collaborating with colleagues in London and Hong Kong. The successful candidate will manage daily Investor Relations operations, engage with clients and internal teams, and contribute to enhancing the overall Client experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with various Transfer Agents, participate in regular service review meetings, address escalated issues, and ensure compliance with SLAs and KPIs.
- Handle dealing, settlement, registration, and waiver inquiries from Transfer Agent partners, ensuring adherence to market standards and timely execution.
- Oversee Capital activities such as subscriptions, redemptions, transfers, and non-financial tasks including new investor setup, data maintenance, and responding to client inquiries.
- Collaborate with Transfer Agents to resolve AML Customer Due Diligence (CDD) issues and conduct annual reviews.
- Complete requests from Distributors, Fund Platforms, or Data Vendors for fund data templates accurately and promptly.
- Foster positive and collaborative relationships with colleagues across departments, including Portfolio Management, Compliance, and Client Onboarding.
- Assist in onboarding new clients within the Retail/Wealth channel, coordinating with business partners and service teams to ensure a seamless Client experience.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in asset management, transfer agency, or banking, specifically in an Investor Relations capacity.
- Strong client-centric approach and excellent interpersonal skills, reflecting our firm’s culture.
- Experience in the Wealth/Retail sector, with familiarity working alongside RIAs and custodians being advantageous.
- Ability to thrive under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and respond to inquiries from clients and colleagues effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
