About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Account Manager to join our team at BakeMark.

As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers in the baking industry.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and exceeding customer expectations.

As a Sales Account Manager, you will work closely with our internal teams to develop and execute sales strategies that drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.

You will also be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.

About the Salary

The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

This salary range is based on national averages and may vary depending on location and other factors.

About the Job Description
  • Responsible for attaining or exceeding annual sales budgets for assigned customers.
  • Develops and executes sales strategies to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintains and quotes prices to customers, ensuring consistency with company guidelines and goals.
  • Responsible for inventory forecasts, sales administration, and resolving customer supply emergencies.
  • Facilitates orders via phone, email, or EDI, managing order-processing issues and shipping addresses.
  • Communicates and updates customers on compliance of credit terms.
  • Prepares period-end reports, including sales trends, variance to prior and budget, S.O.A.R. activity, margin, A/R, and competitive activity.
About the Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience in the baking industry or related field.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
