Sales Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Operations Manager to join our team at Men's Wearhouse. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will play a vital role in driving sales performance, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring operational excellence in our stores.
Job SummaryThe ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of retail or sales experience and possess excellent leadership and communication skills. You will be responsible for partnering with our management team to lead store staff to achieve sales, service, and operational expectations. This includes inspiring store teams to achieve their best performance, executing initiatives to maximize growth and potential, creating an engaged and inclusive store environment, and elevating the customer experience through operational excellence.
Main Responsibilities- Partners with Store Management Team: Work closely with our management team to lead store staff to achieve sales, service, and operational expectations when assigned as the manager on duty.
- Model Company Values: Lead by example, demonstrating company values and active coaching to inspire store teams.
- Communicate Effectively: Communicate priorities and sales-driving information effectively to ensure store staff is equipped to maximize business.
- Assist in Recruiting: Assist in recruiting store staff and contribute to an inclusive store environment.
- Sales Performance: Support the management team in achieving store business plans, including sales, customer service, and operational goals.
- Operational Excellence: Partner with management team to ensure proper staffing to execute initiatives and operational tasks to deliver on the customer promise.
- Customer Experience: Assist in training the store team on customer service expectations to create an exceptional customer experience, exceed customer expectations, and achieve a high Net Promoter Score.
- Minimum of 1 year of Retail or Sales experience.
- Creative individual with good judgment and a pulse on the business.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, strategic thinker.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Active listening and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to train and develop high-performing store teams.
- Proficient in technology systems, applications, Microsoft Office, and video conferencing.
- Ability to stand and walk for the majority of work shift.
- Frequently bend, squat, and twist.
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Climb a ladder to reach merchandise and supplies.
- See and distinguish between fabric patterns and colors.
Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year based on location and experience.
