Manager of Cost Accounting Operations

We are looking for committed professionals to join us as full-time, on-site team members at our new, state-of-the-art facility.
Core Duties:
- Facilitate and assist with the monthly financial closing process, inventory counts, and audits.
- Examine vendor invoices for the payment of manufacturing raw materials, including research, communication, and resolution of discrepancies.
- Perform monthly reconciliations of vendor statements against raw material payables.
- Analyze accounting variances (PPV, Inventory, Absorption, etc.) and guide improvement initiatives within the business.
- Conduct monthly reconciliations of raw material standards versus actuals, providing variance explanations.
- Execute various general ledger account reconciliations to ensure precise financial postings.
- Oversee, review, and communicate cost center expenditures in collaboration with the FP&A Team, ensuring proper documentation and system entries.
- Identify and address issues in collaboration with the finance team and other departments.
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of how supply chain dynamics and manufacturing processes correlate with the general ledger.
- Manage fixed asset acquisition, capitalization, and lifecycle management.
- Develop a detailed inventory cost roll using standard cost methodologies.
- Collaborate effectively across multiple departments.
- Communicate efficiently with team members and other departmental personnel.
- Utilize problem-solving skills to address challenges that may arise.
- Leverage established resources to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure the timeliness and accuracy of all work.
- Support Cost Accounting initiatives for maintaining internal controls.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of accounting policies and procedures.
- Provide support to auditors as needed.
- Offer various administrative assistance as required.

Education Requirements:
Basic/Required:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Preferred:
Advanced degree.
Essential Qualifications:
Minimum of 10+ years of experience in cost accounting.
Strong understanding of general accounting principles and practices (GAAP).
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for tracking, variance analysis, and reporting.
Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, or another comprehensive ERP system.
Working proficiency in the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with SAP S4.
Excellent time management skills.
Detail-oriented and highly organized, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to respond promptly and courteously to internal and external stakeholders.
Capable of handling confidential information with discretion.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Experience collaborating with domestic and international teams.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
Resilient, self-motivated, and able to thrive under pressure.
Preferred Certifications:
CPA or MBA.
