Overview
The Senior Vice President of Federal Sales is tasked with steering the sales initiatives across all federal, Department of Defense (DOD), and civilian agencies within North America, ensuring alignment with revenue objectives and profitability goals.

Key Responsibilities
In collaboration with the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), you will refine our strategic approach towards federal clients and develop a robust go-to-market strategy for this sector.

As a pivotal leader, you will recruit, mentor, and guide the expanding Federal Sales team, facilitating their onboarding, training, and integration into the sales framework.

Your team will focus on enhancing Public Sector revenue, aligning with our Fed Ramp expansion and certification efforts.

What You Will Do
- Direct all aspects of the Public Sector strategy for North America.
- Lead a customer-centric team dedicated to comprehending government client challenges and delivering exceptional solutions.
- Oversee the ongoing Fed Ramp process.
- Engage in internal brainstorming sessions to identify partnership opportunities, develop strategies, and manage negotiations and implementations.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of market needs, trends, industry challenges, key players, and relevant technologies.
- Collaborate with team members and leadership to build a playbook that addresses customer journey blockers.
- Analyze market conditions to set sales objectives and marketing strategies.
- Define the go-to-market strategy for the Public Sector.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and executive teams to design appropriate product, pricing, and promotional strategies for the Public Sector.
- Accurately forecast public sector revenue and identify revenue barriers.

About You
- Over 10 years of experience leading Federal or Public Sector Sales teams in a rapidly growing SaaS environment.
- Proven ability to engage and inspire individuals at all organizational levels.
- Successful history of navigating the RFP process to secure sales.
- Strong background in relevant technology concepts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to various audiences.
- A collaborative problem solver focused on achieving successful outcomes for the company and its partners.
- Exceptional negotiation skills, serving as a role model for sales excellence within the team.
- Highly organized, capable of thriving in ambiguous situations, and comfortable working independently in a dynamic environment.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under pressure.
- Flexible and adaptable to change, guiding your team through transitions.
- Committed to providing an authentic customer service experience and fostering a values-driven environment.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not mandatory.
- Eligibility to obtain security clearance if required.
