Job Summary:
Zimmerman Metals Inc, a leading provider of innovative metal solutions, is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Director to lead our business development efforts, expand our network, and drive growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead weekly estimating meetings and strategic CAPEX & OPEX planning meetings with Executive Leadership to ensure alignment and effective decision-making.
- Develop and implement business development strategies to expand our network and drive growth, leveraging industry trends and market insights.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, customers, and vendors to foster strong partnerships and drive business growth.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, and develop and implement plans to close deals, utilizing market research and analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements, ensuring seamless execution and maximum efficiency.
- Develop and manage marketing content and company-branded materials to enhance our brand presence and reputation.
- Host client engagement events, team-building activities, and other initiatives to foster a positive company culture and drive business growth.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in business development or sales, with a proven track record of success in identifying, qualifying, and closing deals.
- 10+ years of experience in the steel construction industry, with expertise in steel fabrication, steel erection, or general contracting.
- Strong understanding of the construction/manufacturing/machining industry, with knowledge of market trends and competitor analysis.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with key decision-makers.
- Driven, results-oriented, and strategic thinking, with a focus on driving business growth and expansion.
