The Business Development Director will work closely with the Executive Leadership team to achieve sales targets and will be responsible for maintaining a high degree of transparency in pipeline management, pricing negotiations, and contract governance through CRM.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive revenue growth and expand customer relationships.
- Manage a portfolio of large complex customers and develop strategic relationships with key decision-makers.
- Negotiate with C-Level executives to secure new business and expand existing relationships.
- Collaborate with the Revenue Management Team and Sales Engineer to make discretionary pricing decisions.
- Develop and deliver presentations to senior-level executives and stakeholders.
- Exhibit high-level business acumen and strategic selling methodologies to create value-based deals.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- 7+ years of related experience managing large complex customers.
- Proven ability to view rejection as a learning opportunity and double down on next best actions.
- Strong ability to develop and deliver presentations virtually and face-to-face.
- Consultative selling, solutions selling, insight selling, negotiation, and advanced client management skills.
