DermTech International is a leading company in the field of precision dermatology, using technology and innovation to detect skin conditions earlier and more accurately. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for creating product adoption and enhancing portfolio growth in the assigned territory. This will involve account creation, consultative selling, and implementation of the U.S. Sales/Marketing plan. The successful candidate will leverage DermTech's resources to enhance adoption of the portfolio, work collaboratively with other teams, and manage field assets and resources effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attain or exceed assigned sales goals defined in terms of sales, tests, billable samples, and dollars, consistent with the approved marketing plan objectives.
  • Demonstrate effective selling and account development skills, applying DermTech's market development selling principles in an effective and professional manner.
  • Develop partnerships with account influencers and decision-makers, build loyal relationships, and motivate customers to become product advocates.
  • Identify and establish relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and VIP customers, maintaining high-level support and communication to leverage influence and enhance regional brand awareness and advocacy.
  • Ensure a working knowledge of disease state and Gene Expression Profiling (GEP) technology, understanding and conveying knowledge of local market influences and building strategies to positively impact the local marketplace.
  • Collaborate with the Managed Care team on payor access initiatives and consistently develop and execute geographic selling plans to implement the marketing plan and meet sales objectives.
  • Meet new customer creation and current customer development call activity goals across the product portfolio, demonstrating ability to assess territory metrics and develop territory business plans.
  • Allocate and manage resources effectively across the territory customer base, balancing workload and exhibiting sound organizational skills.
  • Comply with corporate and legal requirements for promotional compliance, kit distribution, storage, and exercise good judgment in managing corporate funding and budgets within approved guidelines.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of medical-related sales experience, with dermatological sales experience required.
  • Advanced selling and consulting skills, strong communication skills, and account management experience or transferable skills.
  • Ability to implement in-office initiatives across multiple influencers, develop loyal and substantive relationships, and manage goals and quotas effectively.
  • Collaborative and selfless, with a solution-oriented and problem-solving approach, and strong leadership disposition.
