Position Summary:
The Territory Manager plays a crucial role in promoting and selling DEMDACO's product lines at the retail level. This position encompasses prospecting, qualifying, selling, account planning, and servicing retail partners to meet their merchandise needs with our offerings.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Achieve revenue targets as outlined by the company and/or Regional Sales Manager (RSM).
2. Maintain a standard work schedule of approximately 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend commitments.
3. Conduct a minimum of 8 in-person sales appointments weekly and place 10 orders with different retailers each week.
4. Open new accounts in alignment with specified goals.
5. Manage account planning and forecasting within the designated sales territory.
6. Communicate effectively with customers, RSM, and internal teams regarding sales and marketing matters.
7. Provide weekly written reports to the RSM detailing successes, challenges, and opportunities.
8. Ensure fair and equitable decision-making regarding accounts and distribution.
9. Systematically cover the entire assigned territory by visiting retailers.

Qualifications:
1. Proven outside sales experience, preferably in the Gift Industry.
2. Strong understanding of the sales process, including needs assessment and account qualification.
3. Ability to develop innovative solutions to meet customer needs.
4. Excellent presentation and follow-up skills.
5. Willingness to learn and adopt specific DEMDACO sales practices.
6. Experience with independent retail and regional key accounts.
7. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook) and other technology tools.

Work Environment:
Dynamic, fast-paced, and entrepreneurial, with firm deadlines. Physical demands may include lifting and carrying materials for sales activities and setting up for meetings or displays.
