Position Overview

The role involves providing essential administrative assistance to the Human Resources division.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all office administrative functions, including managing phone calls, processing incoming correspondence, scheduling meetings, and organizing departmental records and supplies.
  • Maintain the calendar for the Chief Human Resources Officer.
  • Address and redirect inquiries from staff, volunteers, and both internal and external callers.
  • Input and manage employee data within the HRIS platform.
  • Handle vendor billing and invoice processing.
  • Facilitate the onboarding and orientation of temporary staff, ensuring time sheet approvals and billing processes are completed.
  • Manage compliance with labor law poster requirements for the organization.
  • Prepare documentation for various audits as needed.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree with 1-3 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with database systems, particularly ADP Workforce Now, is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
  • Professional demeanor on the phone.
  • Capable of working tactfully and efficiently with a diverse range of personalities.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality in all HR-related matters.
