Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all office administrative functions, which include managing phone calls, processing incoming correspondence, scheduling meetings, and organizing departmental files and supplies.
- Maintain the calendar for the Chief Human Resources Officer.
- Address and redirect inquiries from staff, volunteers, and both internal and external callers.
- Input and manage employee data within the HRIS system.
- Handle vendor billing and invoice processing.
- Responsible for the recruitment and onboarding of temporary staff, ensuring time sheet approvals and billing processes are completed.
- Manage compliance with labor law postings within the organization.
- Prepare documentation for various audits as required.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree with 1-3 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with database systems, preferably ADP Workforce Now.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
- Professional communication skills, particularly over the phone.
- Capable of working tactfully and efficiently with a diverse range of personalities.
- Maintain strict confidentiality in all HR-related matters.
