Key Responsibilities
The Community Support Specialist (CSS) will provide essential care and, in collaboration with team members, implement programs tailored to assist each resident in achieving their personal treatment goals. Responsibilities include managing intake and discharge processes for residents, as well as conducting orientation sessions for newcomers.

This position plays a vital role in the Behavioral Health Division of Pioneer Human Services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and cost-effective services for individuals facing chemical dependency challenges.

Qualifications

{Any Equivalent Combination of Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience}


• High school diploma or equivalent required.


• Ability to obtain Agency Affiliated Counselor credentials within 60 days of hire.


• First Aid/CPR certification required prior to the first independent shift.


• Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with effective independent task management and attention to detail.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and internet navigation.


• Valid driver's license is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

  • One year of relevant experience in the human services sector.
  • Coursework, experience, or training in human development, chemical dependency, group dynamics, residential treatment, or related fields is desirable.
