Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Support Specialist to assist with various clerical, accounting, and administrative tasks. This role will initially be part-time, with the potential to transition into a full-time position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide assistance to management and staff by addressing daily office needs.
  • Manage and maintain the filing system to ensure organization and accessibility.
  • Keep track of office supplies, researching new suppliers and deals as necessary.
  • Update and maintain contact lists for effective communication.
  • Collaborate with the Office Manager, Accounts Receivable, Purchaser, and General Manager to address requests and inquiries from senior management.
  • Process credit memos from vendors and manage related claims.
  • Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
  • Support various tasks, with a focus on the claims process and vendor three-way matching.
  • Assist with updates to the website and parts catalog.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in an administrative or office support role.
  • Familiarity with office management systems and procedures.
  • Proficient in using office equipment, including printers and fax machines.
  • Strong skills in MS Office, particularly MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
  • Excellent time management abilities with a knack for prioritizing tasks.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A high school diploma is required; additional qualifications as an Administrative Assistant or Secretary are advantageous.

Compensation:
The hourly wage starts at $17, commensurate with experience.
