Position Summary
The Spa Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial success of the spa. Key responsibilities include enhancing service and retail revenue, ensuring exceptional customer service, fostering employee relations, and managing daily operations.

Financial Responsibilities

  • Achieve budget targets for service and retail revenue across multiple locations.
  • Ensure operational costs align with product and supply budgets as well as service fees.
  • Process employee payroll on a bi-weekly basis.

Human Resources Management

  • Oversee the recruitment and onboarding of all spa personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with standards outlined in the employee handbook.
  • Recognize and promote top-performing service providers.
  • Manage employee disciplinary actions as necessary.

Coaching and Development

  • Conduct monthly team meetings to foster communication.
  • Provide daily support and coaching to spa service staff.
  • Lead one-on-one development meetings with each service provider monthly.
  • Conduct annual performance reviews for all spa team members.
  • Assist in training Front Desk Associates on spa software and services.
  • Manage multiple teams effectively.

Client Engagement

  • Deliver skincare or bodywork services to members and guests.
  • Perform daily outreach to recent spa clients.
  • Maintain follow-up with top clients to encourage future bookings.
  • Engage new club members regarding spa service offerings.
  • Address client inquiries and concerns promptly.

Operational Management

  • Oversee operations across multiple units.
  • Provide spa services at supported locations.
  • Ensure monthly inventory of spa retail and supplies is completed.
  • Develop monthly action plans to drive success.
  • Guarantee adequate shift coverage at all times.
  • Uphold brand standards within the spa.
  • Participate in club events and meetings.
  • Collaborate with leaders from ancillary departments to foster a culture of teamwork.
  • Stay informed about licensing requirements and local regulations related to massage therapy and esthetics.
  • Engage in all club services, programs, and products.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated enthusiasm and exceptional customer service skills.
  • Valid Florida Massage Therapy or Esthetics License required.
  • Enjoy working with people and possess a friendly, outgoing demeanor.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math and money handling skills are essential.
  • Strong communication, listening, and computer skills.
  • Must be a collaborative team player.
