Position Summary:

The Spa Salon Support Specialist is a proactive individual focused on fostering long-term, value-driven relationships with members, contributing to both acquisition and retention goals. This role involves maintaining Spa information to meet or exceed company expectations.

The Specialist will assist with administrative and sales support tasks related to the Salon. In the absence of the Spa Director, this position will engage with prospects, gather information, answer inquiries, and provide tours of the club.

This role is essential for daily interactions with all members, vendors, and staff. Responsibilities are to be executed with the aim of achieving departmental and club operational objectives in alignment with the vision of Fisher Island Club.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as an ambassador for member needs and inquiries, responding effectively to all member feedback in accordance with club standards.
  • Provide support for the club's executive offices as directed.
  • Assist in maintaining Spa records, ensuring all required documentation is completed.
  • Initiate and distribute new member and guest cards.
  • Facilitate internal and external communications for member events, including marketing materials.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance member engagement.
  • Maintain an accurate Spa database.
  • Update event documentation and communicate with relevant departments.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service by fostering a culture dedicated to understanding and exceeding member expectations.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with members, enhancing their sense of community within the club.
  • Proactively address member issues, resolving concerns promptly.
  • Maintain knowledge of club services, promotions, and business practices to provide accurate information to members and guests.
  • Stay informed about club events, amenities, and offerings.
  • Assist with mailings and inventory management.
  • Compile new Spa enrollment kits.
  • Accurately take messages and manage phone lines.
  • Understand club departments and management structure.
  • Be familiar with guest rules for all Spa categories.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college education preferred.
  • Professional demeanor with high ethical standards.
  • Proficient in computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team-oriented individual who can work effectively within the organizational structure.
  • Self-confident and disciplined with a professional appearance.
  • High energy and enthusiasm are essential.
  • Availability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
  • Responsible for maintaining confidentiality of all member information.

Working Environment:

  • Work is conducted in an office setting with outdoor walking and standing for extended periods.
  • Flexibility in scheduling is required, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines is essential.
