Position Overview:

The Fleet Sales Executive will play a pivotal role within our payments and fleet division, tasked with the formulation and implementation of our fleet card expansion strategy. Key responsibilities include establishing new connections with potential fleet card clients and enhancing relationships with current fleet card users to foster long-term profitability through increased fleet fuel volume. This role necessitates a proactive individual with extensive knowledge of the fleet card sector, strong business insight, and exceptional communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

Core Responsibilities:

· Implement the fleet card sales strategy to achieve significant growth in fuel volume. Collaborate with leadership to set monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Create detailed plans to meet and surpass these objectives.

· Collaborate with regional managers and marketing teams to pinpoint fleet sales opportunities.

· Engage with fleet card brand partners to devise and execute strategies for fleet growth.

· Work alongside all fuel brands to formulate a strategy that optimally utilizes their resources in alignment with Sunoco's goals.

· Identify additional business prospects and support partner initiatives through methods such as cold outreach, email marketing, vertical marketing, and leveraging industry resources.

· Stay informed about market dynamics, competitive landscape, and industry trends to refine sales and growth strategies.

· Maintain thorough documentation and tracking of all sales activities, including sales calls, closed deals, and follow-up actions.

· Provide guidance and training for team members involved in fleet sales and marketing efforts.

· Develop a system to monitor the execution of the sales strategy, including tracking new accounts and fleet card usage.

Qualifications:

· Demonstrated experience in Sales, Project Management, and Retail Management is preferred.

· In-depth understanding of fleet cards and the payment card industry.

· 2-8+ years of experience in fleet sales, marketing, operations, credit cards, or a related field.

· Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

· Strong analytical and quantitative abilities.

Experience Requirements:

· The Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor's degree and 2-5 years of relevant experience.

· The Senior Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor's degree and 5-8 years of relevant experience.

· The Lead Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

· A self-driven individual with a high standard of excellence who can work independently to achieve results.

· Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy across various systems.

· Ability to manage multiple tasks while ensuring organization and timely project completion.

· Excellent oral and written communication skills, comfortable interacting with individuals across different departments and levels within the organization.

· Familiarity with PowerBI or other business intelligence reporting tools.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications.

· Project management experience is advantageous.
