Compensation: Starting at $32.00 / hour based on experience. Additional local incentives may apply, including extra pay, referral bonuses, and more.
The Fleet Maintenance Technician is responsible for executing mechanical repairs and conducting preventative maintenance on the company's fleet vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform repairs on various vehicle types.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles.
- Respond to service requests as needed.
- Maintain and organize tools and equipment.
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment.
- Facilitate the pickup and delivery of vehicles.
Education: High School diploma or GED is required.
Experience: A minimum of 1 year of mechanic experience with light and heavy equipment is required. Preferred candidates will have over 3 years of journeyman mechanic experience. Experience with gasoline, diesel, and propane vehicles is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate mechanical and technical skills. Possession of automotive hand tools may be required (excluding heavy-duty or diagnostic tools). ASE certification and CDL Class A are preferred.
