Key Responsibilities:
The Client Services Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in assisting Patient Financial Services with daily functions, reporting, review of Explanation of Benefits, and various special initiatives.
This role necessitates onsite presence from Monday to Thursday, with potential for onsite work on Fridays based on operational requirements.This position entails working four days in the office and one day remotely.
Core Duties:
- Documenting and distributing all business-related inquiries and correspondence from patients and insurance providers.
- Managing all incoming and outgoing faxes for Patient Financial Services.
- Processing daily outgoing correspondence.
- Completing all assigned requests promptly.
- Identifying and communicating areas of concern or improvement to management.
- Executing all internal requests efficiently.
- Handling copying and printing tasks for Patient Financial Services.
- Updating patient demographic and insurance details.
- Reviewing EOBs and performing special projects to address payer-specific issues.
A High School Diploma / GED or 3 years of relevant experience in lieu of a diploma is required. 0-1+ years of experience in a business environment is preferred.
Preferred Skills:Proficiency in a Windows environment is essential. Familiarity with desktop applications such as Word and Excel is advantageous.
Ability to initiate and independently manage projects is beneficial.
